Our Range Rules

NOTE: .50 caliber Barrett and BMG semi-auto rifles are no longer permitted on the range.

First Visit

  • Check in at the lobby.
  • First-time visitors should bring ID to accurately complete the range-card form.
  • Visitors without a range card watch the approximately five-minute safety video, complete the information cards, and receive a lifetime range card.
  • Tell staff which range area you want to use, pay the applicable fees, and receive your range assignment.
  • Rifle ammunition is checked before going to the rifle range.

Cease-Fire Procedure

Cease-fires are normally called every 20 minutes. Unload the firearm, lock the slide open or leave the bolt action open, move behind the yellow line, and wait for staff instruction before going downrange. After changing a target, remain behind the yellow line until staff declares the range hot.

Protection, Ages, and Spectators

  • Eye and ear protection are required for everyone entering a shooting-range area.
  • The minimum shooting age is 5.
  • Visitors age 5 through 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Anyone entering a shooting-range area, including spectators, pays normal admission; visitors age 17 or younger do not pay the range-card fee.

Failure to follow range rules may result in revocation of a range card and ejection from the property.
